Artist's home for sale in Spain - NOW ONLY €109,950!!!!!

PRICE JUST REDUCED FROM €125,000 TO €109,950!!!

I have decided to sell my home and studios in Spain as I need a bigger studio space to house all my ongoing artistic endeavours.  If you are interested, please have a look at the description of the house and the accompanying photographs.  The price was €125,000 but I have just reduced by €15,000 to only €109,950 for a quick sale.

An impressive south-east facing 2/3 bedroom and 1½ bathroom quad style townhouse in El Coral II, in the tranquil area between Torreta III and Banos de Europa in the Mediterranean town of Torrevieja, in the region of Alicante, Spain, within walking distance of schools, shops, bars, restaurants as well as Torrevieja town centre and sea front. The nearby salt lake is considered to be beneficial for those suffering from psoriasis and arthritis. The sun shines on one or more of the 3 terraces of the house at all times of the day, summer and winter. Constructed 15 years ago, it is in top condition with the ‘boutique hotel style’ interior having been extensively redesigned by the owner, a professional artist, sculptor and designer of over 20 years experience.

Situated inside the urbanisation and within 10 metres of the large, well maintained communal pool area, it is accessed by a private paved road. The property outside consists of an ample driveway for parking, small seating area and garden with fruit trees to the side, a substantial raised terrace to the front with seating space for a multiple furniture layout, and a front garden space with a tree sculpture, which doubles up as an anchor point for sun sails which cover the raised terrace.

Inside, the living room has been fitted with wall shelving throughout to maximise space and contains 2 sofa beds with matching material and an eco friendly bio ethanol fire and gabion fireplace and baby grand piano which takes centre stage for those winter evenings. The kitchen has been extended to more than double the original size and incorporates a breakfast bar which has a hidden surprise - as the downstairs toilet and wash hand basin have been cleverly hidden behind a secret door! This space also has shelving, and other quirky artistic features. All of these areas have matching laminate flooring throughout. To the rear is another artistically designed seating space with a Moroccan Riad theme and this also incorporates a storage area.

Ascending the staircase to the 1st floor finds a designer style bathroom with a walk in shower. The wall between the bathroom and 2nd bedroom has been constructed with glass blocks to gain as much light as possible into what once had only a small natural light source. When the spare bedroom is in use a retractable blackout blind gives privacy to both rooms. The spare room has space for twin beds and includes drawer units and a good sized built in wardrobe. The main bedroom, again, had been extensively renovated to incorporate a glass block walk in wardrobe accessible from both sides of the king size bed. Another glass block wall with retractable privacy blind allows light to penetrate further into the room from the ascending staircase. The opposite wall has been mirrored to reflect even more light. Between the two bedrooms is a glassed in terrace that the owner used as the 1st of his studios. This could easily be used as a pleasant day room in winter or as a temporary bedroom when extra guests are visiting.

Moving up to the 2nd floor, the owner has maximised the ‘dead space’ at the top of the stairs by building a full head height wooden extension for use as a 2nd studio for working on larger paintings. This extra area is perfect for multiple uses. Again, extending into the ‘dead space’ under the eaves of the roof, an office and further storage area has been created. Walking out onto the solarium gives views of the salt lakes some 300 metres away and surrounding areas. A private sunbathing terrace has been recreated into another garden area with Astroturf grass, a shower, a space for table and chairs and the cherry on top of the cake - a Jacuzzi for the winter months when it is too cold to use the communal pool. An awning ensures this area can be used as a relaxation zone no matter the weather or time of year. Ambient lighting effects run throughout the house to create a wonderful atmosphere when the sun goes down.

All kitchen white goods and some furniture are included in the sale, including the Jacuzzi. The house has numerous artistic features unique to the property that are a delight to experience. We recommend viewing both in daytime and evening to get the full experience of the ambient lighting.
